We have been using Strawbridge Animal Care since we adopted our first doggy 9 years ago. The staff and doctors are always professional and attentive to any concerns you may have. Especially during the current Pandemic crisis their procedures make you and your loved ones feel very safe and protected as well as their staff. I have been taken my baby Jackson there from the day he was born.. I recently brought my dads 16 year old dog Prince to VA . They have been amazing to my senior baby!!! I knew he was in good hands even while I was in the car waiting.. from the girls out front, techs, and doctors. They kept me updated. Thank you for your smiles, laughs, taking care of my babies. I recently moved to this area and needed a new vet for my dog. The whole experience was very friendly and professional. I felt they really took the time to learn about my pet and what issues he had. The doctor had a new approach for a recurring problem and it’s working. I was glad to see that they just didn’t rush to prescribe an antibiotic as my previous vet did. This place was great. I definitely will be returning for all my pet needs and I recommend them. Awesome place.

Strawbridge Animal Care is one of the best veterinary clinics in the area. The doctors, the staff, the front desk, everyone involved is very compassionate and caring. My baby Thalia has been going here since 2018 and they’ve taken the best care of her. Dr. German is her primary doctor and I couldn’t ask for a better provider for her. Sarah also knows and cares for Thalia a lot and it just makes going there all the more wonderful. Keep up the great work guys!

Switched from Courthouse Vet. Strawbridge is much more personal and less cost. We love this place and wouldn't trust anyone else to our dog.

We just recently had bought a puppy, and had some issues going on that was a little later in the evening and most other vets had already locked up shop until the next day. I reached out to them for advice and if I need to act upon it and find an after hours vet or possibly bring her in to them. The young lady whom had answered the phone was great. Although not a Dr herself she had put enough calming info to us that it calmed my wife and daughter enough to wait for the Dr to call me back, as she did within about 15-20 minutes. After a bunch of questions and voicing of concerns she also was patient enough to deal with us being understandably upset, worried, and scared to put us at easy that she had probably just ate something that didn't agree, and she was right, we had our bouncing, happy, energetic puppy back the next morning! Thank you to all of you on staff at Strawbridge animal!

After taking my elderly pup to a few less then stellar vets this place really blew me away. It is amazing. Everyone is positive and they actually care about my baby. Never going anywhere else!! I highly recommend.

Very friendly. Able to get quick appts. I wish wasn't so expensive but same prices as other vets in area except SPCA!! I love the PETDESK app too. Easy to make appt and I have Bailey's records at my finger tips!!

Given that we had to put one of our pups down at this visit, I don't believe it could have been any better. Dr. Gilfeather was kindness and compassion personified, and made a horrible experience as easy for us as anyone ever possibly could. I cannot say enough about how good she was to my daughter and I as we had to bid our first princess goodbye. She showed such concern for Leia, our pup, and for us. We won't ever forget the horrible day, but will always remember her kindness and empathy. I cannot thank her enough for giving my daughter the comfort she did as my daughter bid goodbye to her first puppy and closest companion of over half her life. My most sincere thanks for that, and for ensuring our other pup, Aurora, was taken care of, and that we knew how to give her medications.

Strawbridge has always been very good and helpful for my little dog Rosie. She had two broken bones in her foot because she was accidentally stepped on and they were amazing through that. Dr. Jones has always been there for us. I hate to see him leaving.

Strawbridge Animal Care is a dimunitive gem! Love that I can take my pet there while other veterinary establishments are close. Could not get off work until 9pm. Was able to see the vet at 9:40pm. Wonderful! Didn't have to go to the emergency hospital for pets. Love it and so did my Diamond!

We are very pleased with the care and attention we receive. We love Dr. Gibbs, and appreciate the friendliness of the entire staff. There are several veterinary practices closer to our home, but we drive a little further to get to Strawbridge Animal Care because we're happy clients.

I would like to thank all the lovely ladies Dr. Amanda German, Assistant Hannah, and Lauren who were able to get me in on the same day, took the time to explain what was going on, how much it would cost, what my options are for my big boy! A big Thanks to the two ladies who called the following day and asked how he was doing which you dont see in veterinary clinics/offices often anymore. Wonderful group of people there at Strawbridge. They are always great to my Kitties when they go in for anything. Dr. Walker always calls as soon as he get results from any tests and explains things so I can understand them. The people at the front desk always greet me with a smile and seem genuinely interested in what’s going on with my pets.

This place has been nothing but accommodating for my two fur children. They treat the pets with love and respect as though they were the owners of the pets. The staff is super helpful and nice. They explain everything in detail and well help you with almost anything. My wife and I liked this place so much we brought out 2 dogs back after moving away and going to another vet that was just terrible. So in short, we love this place and so do our dogs!

My fur baby has been going to SAC since I brought her home @ 8 wks. The love & care they shower her with is genuine, professionalism is a 10+When they had to put my other babies down they were as gutted as I was & helped me through a truly heart wrenching experience. My puppy ate two corn cobs whole and needed emergency surgery, and no other vet that I called could make room for her. Not only did they fit in her surgery on what seemed to be a very busy day, but everyone on the staff was incredible and took such great care of her! They all obviously love every animal that comes into the office, and I’m planning on taking both my dogs there from now on. Definitely would recommend them!

Recently we had to put our 13 year old golden retriever down, It was one of the hardest decisions we ever had to make. During this tough time, the staff at Strawbridge was amazing. They could not have been any kinder from the tone of voice they used though the sympathy card they sent to us, signed by every staff member. They made sure we understood the process and let us lay right on the floor beside her. I can't thank you enough for making a horrible situation a little bit more bearable. The Searfoss Family

I would like to thank everyone at Strawbridge Animal hospital for taking such great care of my little Lulu. Lulu is a Silky Terrier and she was pregnant with only one puppy. She is also very scared of people she does not know but from day one was very comfortable with everyone there. We started out with pregnancy checks, then the dreadful realization that Lulu was not going to go into labor. A quick trip to Strawbridge revealed the puppy was no longer living and Lulu needed an emergency C-section and spay. A couple of abnormal issues were found and a second surgery was needed. Lulu is fully recovered and back to her usual self and we just can't thank Strawbridge Animal hospital enough. I feel like we've made friends for life! Thank you to everyone there especially Doctor Gibbs and Doctor Hollowell!

Dr Gibbs and staff did a great job with Myla. They spent time with us making sure she got her medicine in her ears without hurting her. She hates anyone touching her ears. They used treats and petting distractions to keep her calm enough. Thank y’all for your patience with us.

We receive great care for our 3 dachshunds and the staff is very accommodating when we have a need for an appointment rather quickly. Dr. Walker and Dr. German are both very caring and we choose to see these 2 doctors for our needs.

I have been taking my dog Zoey every other day for laser therapy for almost 2 months. I get to see alot while I'm there. This practice is so friendly and caring. They have pictures around the walls of Doctor's and staff with their fur patients. It's very cheerful and I'm happy with all of them.

I just have say this that Strawbridge Animal Care , Wow you guys will go above and beyond for your families and your animal patients. The team is amazing on what they do. Thank you so much for saving my cat Curly from a dangerous urinary tract blockage. He is doing wonderful on his diet, I am so thankful that I reached to Jessica Spruil who works there as a vet technician,she kept our family calm and staid with Carly the whole time while he was in surgery. Words can not express how grateful my family is lucky to count on the doctors and team there to make a visit a very pleasant, knowledgeable, and smooth experience for check ups or in need Emergency visits. Looking for a new vet, it made sense to try Strawbridge Animal Care with it being across the street. Brought my very anxious dachshund in for an allergy shot, the staff and vet were AMAZING! They gave me tips on dealing with our small dogs (we have another doxie, too!) anxiety. Will be a forever patient at Strawbridge Animal Care!

I have been Strawbridge Animal Care client for many years. Strawbridge Animal Care staff are very friendly, helpful, caring , compassionate and have always taken excellent care of my pets. They are knowledgeable and try hard to help with my pet’s health problems. When my beloved Mini crossed over the rainbow bridge after 22 years together, staff was very comforting. Receiving a handmade sympathy card signed by all the staff, made me feel cared for and loved. It helped with my grieving. Now I have four rescue cats and I trust Strawbridge Animal Care with my pet’s health care. They are like a family!

Dr. Salmon is awesome! I trust her with my two fur babies. All the vets are always willing to help us at short notice. I love the open hours availability in case something out of the norm comes up.
